NYU Langone Hospital—Brooklyn invites an Anesthesia Tech II to join our operating room team. You will stock anesthetic supplies, maintain and troubleshoot equipment, and assist clinicians with patient care to support safe, efficient anesthesia delivery.

This role covers calibration, setup of anesthesia machines, sterile technique for line placements, and collaboration with nurses and engineers to ensure readiness before, during, and after procedures.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an anesthesia tech program or 2 years of experience supporting anesthesia clinicians.
• Familiarity with Operating Room drug and equipment terminology.
• Must be able to read, write and follow instructions.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsabilités

• During induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia.
• Assist with regional anesthetics and invasive monitoring devices.
• Assist with pain blocks, epidurals, spinals, line placement and patient positioning.
• Transport patients.
• Follow directives and protocols.
• Communicate with circulating nurses.
• Respond to Codes in line with duties.
