Qualifikationen

• Graduate of an Anesthesia Technician program, or holder of an ASATT certificate with 3 years experience supporting anesthesia clinicians with patient care.
• High School Diploma Required.
• Certification in BLS-C required.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.

Aufgaben

• Stocking anesthetic supplies for ORs.
• Maintaining anesthetic equipment and ensuring availability.
• Assisting clinicians with patient care during induction, maintenance and emergence from anesthesia.
• Placement of regional anesthetics and invasive monitoring devices.
• With pain blocks, epidurals, spinals, line placement and patient positioning.
• Transporting patients and following directives and protocols.
• Communicating with circulating nurses and responding to codes as needed.
