Job summary

NYU Langone Orthopedic Hospital at NYU Langone Health has an exciting opportunity for an Anesthesia Technician III. The role focuses on stocking anesthetic supplies, maintaining equipment, and assisting clinicians with patient care throughout anesthesia care.

Responsibilities include steps from induction to emergence, regional blocks, line placement, patient transport, and collaboration with nursing staff, with strong emphasis on safety and device integrity.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an Anesthesia Technician program or ASATT certificate.
• High School Diploma required; read, write, follow instructions.
• BLS-C certification required; lift up to 50 lbs.

Responsibilities

• Clinical/ patient care during anesthesia induction, maintenance, and emergence.
• Assist with regional anesthetics and invasive monitoring devices.
• Support pain blocks, epidurals, spinals, line placement and patient positioning.
• Transport patients as needed and follow protocols.
• Communicate with circulating nurses and respond to codes as directed.
