Job summary

Qualifications

• Graduate of an anesthesia tech program or 2 years of anesthesia support experience.
• Familiarity with Operating Room drug and equipment terminology.
• Must read, write and follow instructions.
• Lift and move equipment up to 50 lbs.
• Basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist with patient care during induction, maintenance, and emergence from anesthesia.
• Support placement of regional anesthetics and invasive monitoring devices.
• Assist with pain blocks, lines, patient positioning, and transport.
• Maintain stocked supplies and ensure equipment is clean and operational.
• Troubleshoot equipment and report needed repairs.
