Job summary

Mixpanel is seeking an experienced Customer Engineer to embed with enterprise teams and drive analytics value. You will become a Mixpanel expert in features, implement solutions, and lead technical qualification during deal cycles.

Within three months you will directly support deals, deliver customised demos, and collaborate with leadership to understand business challenges solvable with analytics. Occasional travel is required.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of SaaS sales engineering or related experience.
• Experience querying, modelling, and transforming data with SQL/dbt/Python.
• Familiarity with cloud data warehouses (BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake, etc.).
• Proven track record selling to executives and managing stakeholders.
• Willingness to travel as needed.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a trusted technical advisor on data architecture, governance and outcomes.
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders at all levels to earn trust.
• Bridge technical and business goals for proof-of-concept success.
• Share best practices from Mixpanel expertise on projects.
• Work with Account Executives to drive revenue growth as the technical lead.
• Collaborate with post-sales to translate value into results.
• Develop relationships with key technical stakeholders in your book of business.
• Act as Voice of the Prospect, relaying feedback to Product.
