Job summary

Harnham is seeking a Senior Manager, Data Analytics in Maryland. This hybrid role, with two onsite days per week, leads a 5-person data team spanning data engineering, analytics and senior analysts, acting as the primary data partner to senior leadership.

You will shape commercial, financial, operational and customer decisions, balancing hands-on work with people development, and owning the analytics roadmap to drive measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in data analytics, BI, data science or similar, with people management
• Proven track record leading broad analytics scope and cross-functional teams
• Strong business acumen and ability to challenge stakeholders constructively
• Advanced SQL and modern BI tool experience (Looker or similar)
• Experience using AI tools in analytical work with validation
• Excellent communication and project-management skills with demanding stakeholders

Responsibilities

• Leading a 5-person team spanning data engineering, analytics and senior analysts
• Partnering with senior leaders to turn business priorities into a data and analytics agenda
• Setting the roadmap and prioritizing by business impact
• Turning ambiguous questions into sharp analysis and actionable recommendations
• Modernizing core data products and relaunching reporting for frontline teams
• Driving rollout of predictive modeling and AI-enabled tools
• Raising data fluency across the business to anchor decisions in evidence
