Job summary
TerraPower is seeking a Senior Analytical Chemist to drive analytical method development for the Natrium program. You will design experiments and build robust analytical capabilities supporting sodium and related process streams.
You will lead instrument calibration, data interpretation, and collaboration with design, operations, and safety teams to ensure reactor safety and materials performance.
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in chemistry, materials science, or related field.
- Experience with analytical characterization techniques and method development.
- Experience with lab instrumentation and data interpretation.
Responsibilities
- Develop analytical methods for Natrium sample characterization.
- Lead thermophysical and thermal characterization activities (DSC/TGA).
- Perform thermodynamic calculations to support chemical evaluations.
- Design and document laboratory experiments for Natrium systems.
- Generate technical work products and documentation.
- Manage analytical scope and data quality for Natrium materials.
