Job summary

TerraPower, LLC is seeking a Senior Manager to lead the Core Mechanical Performance Testing team supporting the Natrium Fuel Engineering and Technology program in Everett, WA. You will plan and execute testing activities to mature designs and validate analytical methods for next‑generation reactor components.

You will manage a multidisciplinary group, mentor managers, ensure safety and quality, and coordinate with internal customers and suppliers to meet schedule and budget while maintaining

Qualifications

• B.S. in engineering field required.
• 5+ years of experience testing systems and components.
• 3+ years in a technical leadership role with project scope responsibilities.
• Experience in mechanical testing and/or flow testing.
• ASME NQA-1 testing experience.
• Experience managing a multi-disciplinary team.
• Excellent writing, presentation and communication skills.
• Ability to work with minimal direction.

Responsibilities

• Lead planning and execution of testing for next‑gen core components.
• Develop and manage a high‑performing, inclusive team.
• Ensure safety, quality, and regulatory compliance across testing activities.
• Coordinate with internal customers and stakeholders on scope, schedule and budget.
