Job summary

TerraPower is seeking a Licensing Manager to join the Natrium Licensing team. You will lead licensing activities, manage NRC engagements, and work with Engineering to ensure compliance with TerraPower licensing strategy.

This role reports to the Director of Licensing and supports the Natrium project lifecycle, including pre-application activities and future licensing efforts. Applicants should have a engineering degree and 8+ years in nuclear licensing with 2+ years supervising teams, plus

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering is required.
• 8+ years of experience in the nuclear industry.
• 2+ years of new or advanced reactor licensing or oversight.
• 2+ years of supervisory or mentoring experience or equivalent leadership experience.
• Familiarity with 10 CFR regulations and guidance, including 10 CFR 50 applications.
• Excellent communicator, team oriented, able to work in a matrix organization.

Responsibilities

• Manage the planning, coordination, and execution of on-going licensing activities.
• Ensure quality and timely licensing documents (e.g., Construction Permit or Operating License Application).
• Coordinate with stakeholders to respond to NRC audit questions and information requests.
• Ensure designs meet regulatory requirements and QA standards.
• Maintain licensing documentation in compliance with regulations and QA standards.
• Interface with TerraPower teams and external partners on licensing activities.
• Develop licensing strategies to support project goals.
