Battle Tested is seeking a Senior Technology Manager to oversee AML and financial crimes application production support. You will lead a high‑impact team, set strategic direction for reliability and modernization, and partner with Technology, Risk, Compliance, and the business to ensure secure, compliant operations.

The role requires deep experience in financial crimes platforms within large financial institutions, strong ITIL knowledge, and a track record of delivering resilient service

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience as a senior technology leader with a track record of leading technology support teams.
• Deep experience supporting AML or other financial crimes platforms within large financial institutions.
• Strong technical and analytical capabilities in production support for proprietary and third‑party apps.
• Working knowledge of the ITIL framework and its use in IT service management.
• Experience managing production stability, resilience, performance, and operational risk.
• Ability to identify technology and business risks and drive resolution.
• Strong written and verbal communication, with ability to influence executives.
• Proven ability to lead with urgency and build team confidence.
• Experience developing talent and delivering business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and develop a production support organization for AML and financial crimes platforms.
• Set a support strategy aligning reliability, service delivery, and modernization.
• Oversee incident, problem, change, capacity, and event management.
• Drive resolution of critical production issues and implement corrective actions.
• Partner with owners, engineering, and stakeholders to prioritize enhancements.
• Maintain health, performance, security, and data management compliance.
• Ensure governance, risk, regulatory, and compliance requirements are met.
• Support audits and remediation with effective controls.
• Build relationships with senior leaders across Technology, Risk, Compliance.
• Manage workforce planning, budgets, and resource allocation.
• Set service quality and team performance metrics; drive continuous improvement.
• Coach managers and engineers; support career development.
• Advance automation, DevOps practices for efficiency.
• Foster inclusive, accountable environment and remove barriers.
