MissionHires is seeking a Senior Technology Manager to lead Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Application Production Services within the Enterprise Risk & Finance Application Production Services team. This senior leadership role is responsible for strengthening the stability, resilience, performance, governance, and regulatory readiness of critical AML technology platforms while building and developing a high-performing production support organization.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership for the AML application production services team, developing technology leaders and connecting the team’s work to enterprise outcomes.
• Oversee adherence to core production services processes, including incident, problem, change, capacity, event, and service request management, as well as service analytics and reporting.
• Ensure application stability, resiliency, performance, security, and enterprise data management standards for critical production platforms.
• Manage governance standards, regulatory obligations, risk controls, audit examinations, and remediation activities.
• Build strong relationships with senior leaders across Technology, Risk, Compliance, business units, and application owners.
• Partner with application owners and front-line teams to prioritize enhancements and remedial actions that improve platform stability and service reliability.
• Lead solution delivery and application performance in production while ensuring alignment with risk, financial, compliance, and security policies.
• Contribute to technology strategy for the AML technical domain and align execution with product strategy and stakeholder priorities.
• Manage workforce strategy, hiring, budgets, maturity objectives, quality metrics, and team performance.
• Coach and develop team members through performance reviews, feedback, career planning, and competency development.
• Drive continuous improvement through operational excellence, data-informed decision-making, automation, and simplification.
• Create an inclusive, healthy work environment; remove organizational blockers and foster cross-functional accountability.
• Communicate strategy, risks, tradeoffs, decisions, and outcomes effectively to executive stakeholders and partner teams.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience as a senior technology leader with a proven record of leading technology support or application production services teams.
• Strong analytical and technical skills, including experience with application production support solutions across proprietary and third-party platforms.
• Working knowledge of ITIL processes and service management frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage operational risk, identify and anticipate technology and business risks, and establish effective controls.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to influence technology partners, business leaders, and executives.
• Proven people leadership experience, including hiring, coaching, performance management, workforce planning, and talent development.
• Ability to operate with urgency and sound judgment while inspiring confidence, optimism, and accountability across teams.
• Experience supporting AML, financial crimes, sanctions, KYC/CDD, transaction monitoring, or related technology platforms in a large financial institution is strongly preferred.
• Experience leading technology organizations through regulatory remediation, consent orders, audits, or heightened regulatory scrutiny is preferred.
• Demonstrated success improving operational resilience, platform stability, and service reliability for critical regulated applications.
• Ability to align product, architecture, engineering, operations, risk, compliance, audit, regulatory affairs, and business stakeholders around shared outcomes.
• Executive presence and the ability to communicate complex strategy, recommendations, risks, and tradeoffs to senior leadership.
• Relevant certifications such as CAMS, risk management, cloud, or related credentials are preferred.
