Job summary

ConfigUSA is seeking a Senior Amazon Connect Developer / Lead Amazon Connect Developer for a remote, long-term contract based in the United States. The role requires 8–12+ years of engineering experience, including 6–8+ years directly with Amazon Connect, and hands-on work across IVR, contact flows, and CRM integrations.

The candidate will lead technical delivery, write and troubleshoot code, and articulate architecture decisions, production incidents, and business outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

8–12+ years of overall engineering experience, with 6–8+ years of direct Amazon Connect development.
Hands-on implementation of IVR, contact flows, routing logic, Lambda functions and CRM integrations.
Experience supporting enterprise contact centers, preferably involving multiple business units or complex routing requirements.
Has led technical delivery but continues to write and troubleshoot code.
Can independently explain architecture decisions, development challenges, production incidents, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

Oversee technical delivery for Amazon Connect projects while actively coding and debugging.
Design and optimize IVR flows, contact routing, and Lambda integrations.
Collaborate with business units to meet complex routing requirements and production SLAs.
Explain architecture decisions and incident postmortems to stakeholders.
