Job summary

APSCareerportal in Baltimore, MD seeks a Senior Amazon Connect Developer to design, develop, and support enterprise contact-center solutions using Amazon Connect and AWS. You will build call flows, IVR, routing, and live-chat capabilities, and integrate with Lambda, Lex, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and other AWS services.

The role requires onsite work five days a week and a strong background in large-scale contact-center environments, with emphasis on requirements gathering and documentation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a related field (CS, Math, Engineering).
• 7+ years in large-scale enterprise frameworks and application environments.
• 7+ years with AWS Cloud technologies.
• 3+ years hands-on with Amazon Connect.
• 3+ years of Node.js/Python/Java development.
• 3+ years with call-routing and messaging technologies.
• Hands-on IVR and ACD experience.
• Experience with skill-based routing and live-chat solutions.
• Experience with AWS Lambda.
• Experience with Lex, Kinesis, DynamoDB, and related services.
• Strong requirements gathering, documentation, and process-flow skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, configure, and support Amazon Connect contact-center solutions.
• Develop and maintain call flows, IVR solutions, routing strategies, and customer workflows.
• Design and implement Automatic Call Distribution (ACD) functionality.
• Implement skill-based routing and advanced call-routing strategies.
• Develop and support live-chat and messaging capabilities.
• Translate business and technical requirements into Amazon Connect solutions.
• Conduct requirements-gathering sessions with stakeholders.
• Document contact-center requirements and workflows.
• Develop process-flow diagrams and technical documentation.
• Integrate Amazon Connect with other AWS services and enterprise apps.
• Develop serverless components using AWS Lambda (Node.js, Python, Java).
• Develop conversational solutions using Amazon Lex and NLP capabilities.
• Implement data streaming and analytics with Amazon Kinesis.
• Work with AWS Glue for data processing and integration.
• Configure AWS VPC-based solutions.
• Develop event-driven integrations with SNS and EventBridge.
• Work with AppSync for APIs and app integrations.
• Support data delivery with Kinesis Data Firehose.
• Work with DynamoDB and DynamoDB Streams.
• Utilize AWS services like Service Catalog and Kinesis Data Analytics as needed.
