Job summary

ConfigUSA is seeking a Senior Amazon Connect Developer / Lead Amazon Connect Developer for a remote, long-term contract based in the United States. The role requires 8–12+ years of engineering experience, including 6–8+ years directly with Amazon Connect, and hands-on work across IVR, contact flows, and CRM integrations.

The candidate will lead technical delivery, write and troubleshoot code, and articulate architecture decisions, production incidents, and business outcomes to stakeholders.

Qualifications

• 8–12+ years of overall engineering experience, with 6–8+ years of direct Amazon Connect development.
• Hands-on implementation of IVR, contact flows, routing logic, Lambda functions and CRM integrations.
• Experience supporting enterprise contact centers, preferably involving multiple business units or complex routing requirements.
• Has led technical delivery but continues to write and troubleshoot code.
• Can independently explain architecture decisions, development challenges, production incidents, and business outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee technical delivery for Amazon Connect projects while actively coding and debugging.
• Design and optimize IVR flows, contact routing, and Lambda integrations.
• Collaborate with business units to meet complex routing requirements and production SLAs.
• Explain architecture decisions and incident postmortems to stakeholders.
