Job summary

U.S. Bank seeks a senior professional to supervise a team of administrators handling accounting, administration and investor servicing for investment clients. You will act as the trusted advisor, assessing changing strategies and guiding issue resolution to support client needs.

The role requires deep knowledge of portfolio accounting, investment management, and strong communication skills. CPA/CFA is preferred; location requires in-office presence several days a week.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance or related field, or equivalent experience
• Seven to nine years of experience in alternative investments industry
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and Advent applications preferred
• Strong knowledge of portfolio accounting and investment management industry
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Proven leadership and organizational skills
• CPA or CFA certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Supervises a team of administrators responsible for accounting, administration and investor servicing for investment companies and advisers
• Acts as trusted advisor to clients by assessing business needs and providing expertise to grow investments
• Escalates issues and directs resolution and process changes to support client needs
• Reviews accounting and financial statements for audits and tax reviews; sets up accounting principles for complex investments; handles complex expense and incentive fee calculations and reconciliations
