Job summary

U.S. Bank is seeking an Alternative Investments Associate/Accountant to join the team responsible for accounting, administration and investor servicing for hedge funds, private equity funds and other products.

You will calculate NAVs, disseminate performance data, and ensure GAAP-based fund accounting across multiple relationships. The role requires a BA/BS in accounting or related field, with 5+ years of relevant experience, and a willingness to work from a U.S.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or business-related field or equivalent work experience.
• Five or more years of related experience, preferably in portfolio/partnership accounting, finance or portfolio management.

Responsibilities

• Calculate net asset value and disseminate financial information to investment advisor and investors.
• Act as primary fund accountant on multiple relationships ensuring GAAP compliance.
• Record trade information, income/expense activity and apply valuation of securities.
• Enter and reconcile investor contributions and withdrawals in partnership accounting system.
• Prepare fund financial statements, audit and tax schedules.
