Brinks Home is seeking a dedicated Alarm Service Technician to visit customer sites in West Palm Beach, install, service, and inspect low‑voltage security equipment. You will diagnose issues, perform repairs, and provide demonstrations to customers, ensuring systems meet their needs and expectations.

The role requires climbing, driving to homes, and maintaining safety standards to protect people and property.

Qualifications

• H.S. diploma or GED is required.
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record.
• Excellent customer service skills required.
• Working knowledge of how alarm systems operate.
• Comfort with ladders and work at heights.
• Comfort working in crawlspaces, attics, basements.
• Low‑voltage license or alarm installation certification.
• NICET I certification.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low‑voltage security equipment at customer sites.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose system problems and perform repairs.
• Educate customers and demonstrate system operation.
• Conduct thorough site evaluations and confirm system meets customer needs.
• Ensure proper functionality and signal verification for service.
