Job summary

Brinks Home is seeking a motivated Alarm Service Technician to install, service and inspect low‑voltage security equipment across customer sites. You will build strong customer relationships while performing system walkthroughs, demonstrations, and hands‑on repairs.

The role requires climbing, driving to multiple locations, and the ability to troubleshoot and replace components to ensure reliable protection and satisfaction.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
• Experience operating alarm systems and troubleshooting.
• Must be comfortable climbing ladders and working in tight spaces.

Responsibilities

• Install, service, and inspect low-voltage electronic security equipment at customer sites.
• Drive to customer homes and perform service with occasional lifting up to 30 pounds.
• Troubleshoot system problems and replace components as needed (panels, peripherals, alarms).
• Educate customers and provide system demonstrations and walkthroughs.
• Ensure proper operation and signal verification of all equipment.
• Identify opportunities to improve customer systems and functionality.
