Job summary

Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks an experienced engineer to design repair solutions for aircraft structures, ensuring airworthiness and timely delivery. You will develop integrated repair concepts for metallic and non-metallic parts and work with Static Stress, FDT and other Airbus teams.

Required: BS in Engineering (Aero/Civil/Mechanical) with 6+ years in design/analysis of airframe structures; CATIA V5 or 3DExperience preferred; strong English communication; willingness to travel up to 5%.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with emphasis on structural design and materials mechanics.
• 6+ years design/analysis experience on airframe structures.
• Knowledge of maintenance/repair documentation and procedures.

Responsibilities

• Create high quality integrated repair solutions for airlines and internal customers.
• Review damage reports and develop repair solutions with minimal support.
• Prepare technical documents and drawings within Airbus applications.
• Collaborate with Static Stress, FDT, and other departments to optimize fixes.
• Ensure final repair maintains airworthiness and timeliness.
