Airbus Commercial Aircraft is seeking a Senior Stress Engineer to join our Engineering department based in Wichita, Kansas or Mobile, Alabama. You will contribute to static stress analysis of aircraft structures, collaborating with design and fatigue teams to deliver high strength-to-weight solutions.

Strong knowledge of classical and finite element methods is essential. You will mentor junior analysts, lead critical analyses, and communicate technical results to stakeholders across programs.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering required.
• Minimum nine years total experience in analysis with airframe structures.
• Experience with static stress analysis using classical and numerical methods.
• Ability to lead teams and communicate effectively.

Aufgaben

• Autonomously perform complex analyses to verify structural integrity.
• Document analyses for trade studies and sign‑off of airframe structures.
• Liaise with Design, Fatigue and other Airbus departments to develop optimal solutions.
• Mentor and lead less experienced structural analysts.
• Lead preparation of technical material and presentation packages.
