Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Senior Stress Engineer to join the Engineering department in Wichita, KS or Mobile, AL.

You will perform static stress analyses on airframe structures, collaborate with design and fatigue teams, and contribute to high-strength, lightweight structure solutions across Airbus products. The role requires extensive FE analysis expertise, CATIA/NASTRAN/ PATRAN proficiency, and English communication skills.

Competenze

• Minimum nine (9) years total experience in analysis with airframe structures.
• Experience in static stress analysis with airframe structures.
• Capable of using classical and numerical (Finite Element) stress analysis methods.

Mansioni

• Autonomously perform complex analyses to verify that structural integrity requirements have been met.
• Mentor and provide leadership to less experienced structural analysts.
• Leads in the preparation of complex business and technical material and presentation packages.
