Airbus Americas, Inc. seeks a Principal Stress Engineer to join the Engineering department in Wichita, Kansas. You will perform complex static analyses on aircraft primary structures, collaborating with design and fatigue teams to deliver high-strength, lightweight airframe solutions.

The role requires a BS in Engineering (Aero, Civil or Mechanical) and extensive experience with airframe structures. Onsite 90% in Wichita; US work authorization is required.

Qualifications

• Perform complicated static analysis for airframe structures.
• Collaborate with design and fatigue teams to deliver solutions.
• Use both hand calculations and computer techniques for high strength-to-weight structures.
