Job summary

Airbus Commercial Aircraft seeks a Senior Stress Engineer in Atlanta, GA to support aircraft structure development as a Static Stress analyst. You will perform complex static analysis for metallic and non-metallic parts, collaborating with design and fatigue teams to deliver high strength-to-weight solutions.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and about 9 years of experience in static stress analysis, with proficiency in MS Office and Google Suite.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with emphasis on structural design and mechanics of materials.
• 9 years total experience in static stress analysis with airframe structures.
• Strong computer background including MS Office and Google Suite.

Responsibilities

• Autonomously perform complex static analyses to verify structural integrity requirements.
• Collaborate with Design and Fatigue teams to optimize airframe structures.
• Mentor and provide leadership to less experienced analysts.
• Lead preparation of technical material and presentations for contracts and projects.
• Travel as needed to support customers and sites.
