Job summary

The ideal candidate has a BS in engineering, 5+ years of airframe analysis experience, and proficiency with classical and numerical stress methods.

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering with emphasis on structural design and analysis.
• 5+ years total analysis experience in airframe design/repair programs.
• Proficiency in classical hand calculations and numerical (Finite Element) stress analysis.
• Ability to work in a dynamic environment both independently and with a team.
• Travel up to ~5% domestically and very limited international travel.

Responsibilities

• Create high quality integrated and certified engineering repair solutions within given time scales.
• Perform stress/strength analyses to ensure structural integrity using hand and computer methods.
• Coordinate with Design, Fatigue, and other Airbus departments to develop optimum solutions.
• Ensure final repair solutions meet airworthiness and certification requirements.
• Support local process improvements to increase team efficiency.
