Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated is seeking an Aircraft Mechanic III to lead maintenance teams on P-8/Boeing 737 platforms at NAS Whidbey Island. This senior role requires supervising quality assurance and ensuring adherence to NAMP procedures for Level I–III work.

Candidates should have 6–8+ years of hands-on aircraft maintenance, an active FAA A&P license or equivalent, and a Secret CAC clearance.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required; military aviation training or FAA A&P preferred.
• Active FAA A&P license or equivalent military credentials; CAC required.
• 6–8+ years hands-on maintenance; leadership experience on maritime patrol or P-8/Boeing 737.
• Strong knowledge of aircraft mechanical systems, structures, and repairs.
• Familiarity with Navy technical publications and NAMP compliance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, supervise, and mentor maintenance teams through aircraft modifications and complex maintenance.
• Perform and overhaul structures and engines; maintain flight controls, hydraulics, pneumatics, and fuel systems.
• Review and sign off on actions; enter authorized maintenance data into logs.
• Diagnose malfunctions using blueprints, data, and manuals to resolve issues.
• Provide structural/mechanical support to engineers and customers; act as primary contact.
• Use test equipment and precision tools to ensure compliance and safekeeping.
