Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeking a mid-level Aircraft Mechanic II for night shift at NAS Whidbey Island. You will perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications on P-8 aircraft under NAMP, leading junior technicians under strict safety standards.

Requirements include an active Secret clearance, FAA A&P license or equivalent, 3–5 years of hands-on P-8 maintenance, and CAC eligibility.

Qualifications

• Active Secret security clearance and CAC eligibility.
• HS Diploma or GED; Navy/Marine A/C schools or FAA A&P preferred.
• 3–5 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance, with P-8/Boeing 737 experience desirable.
• FAA A&P license; CAC eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of P-8 airframe/powerplant subsystems.
• Familiarity with naval publications and aircraft tooling.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex defects independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex maintenance and troubleshooting on P-8 aircraft systems.
• Follow NAMP and contract directives for all actions.
• Ensure safety standards and FOD prevention.
• Document actions in logs and maintenance systems.
• Provide data for MEC/ECOD and assist with MWOs.
• Lead Level I/II mechanics and conduct peer inspections.
