Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeks a skilled Aircraft Mechanic III for night shift at NAS Whidbey Island. The role leads, inspects, and troubleshoots P-8 aircraft powerplant and structural systems, supervising Level I–III mechanics under NAMP.

The position requires active clearance, A&P or equivalent, and a strong background in navy aviation maintenance schedules and procedures. Military aviation experience is highly valued.

Qualifications

• Active U.S. Secret Security Clearance required.
• A&P license or equivalent military credentials preferred.
• 6–8+ years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience leading teams on P‑8/Boeing 737 platforms is desirable.
• Strong knowledge of Navy NAMP and maintenance logs.

Responsibilities

• Lead and mentor maintenance teams through aircraft modifications.
• Inspect workflows, ensure schedule adherence and on-time delivery.
• Perform and overhaul structures, engines, hydraulics, fuels, and controls.
• Review and sign maintenance actions for junior mechanics.
• Diagnose malfunctions using blueprints and technical data.
