ACET, a Veteran Owned firm, seeks a mid-level Aircraft Mechanic II for Day Shift to perform O-level maintenance, troubleshooting, and modifications on P-8 aircraft stationed with VP-69 at NAS Whidbey Island. Work under NAMP, lead task teams, and ensure safety and quality in accordance with military standards.

Candidates must hold an active U.S. Secret clearance or be eligible for CAC, HS diploma or GED, 3–5 years of hands-on experience on P-8/Boeing 737 derivatives, and an FAA A&P license or

Qualificações

• Must possess active U.S. Secret Security Clearance.
• HS diploma or GED required; formal military aviation training or FAA A&P program highly preferred.
• Minimum 3–5 years hands-on aircraft maintenance experience, with O-level experience on maritime patrol or Boeing 737 derivatives (P-8) preferred.
• Active FAA A&P license or equivalent military credentials; CAC eligibility.
• Strong knowledge of P-8 airframe/powerplant subsystems and naval publications.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical defects and read blueprints and manuals.

Responsabilidades

• Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, repairs, and modifications on P-8 aircraft airframes, structures, powerplants, avionics, electrical, and egress systems.
• Follow NAMP, technical data, and contract directives; maintain logs and records.
• Ensure safety compliance (FOD prevention, tool control) and quality assurance.
• Provide data for MEC/ECOD and assist with MWOs.
• Lead Level I/II mechanics, conduct peer inspections, and prioritize workload.
