Job summary

Adams Communication & Engineering Technology (ACET), Incorporated seeks a mid-level Aircraft Mechanic II for night shift at NAS Whidbey Island. You will perform O-level maintenance on P-8 aircraft, troubleshoot complex issues, and guide Level I/II technicians under NAMP guidelines.

Required are a HS diploma or GED, FAA A&P (or military equivalent), 3–5 years in aviation maintenance, and an active clearance with CAC eligibility. This is a US government contractor role with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• HS diploma or GED required; military aviation training preferred.
• Active FAA A&P license or equivalent military credentials.
• 3–5 years of hands-on aircraft maintenance experience.
• Experience with O-level maintenance on P-8/Boeing 737 platforms is desirable.
• U.S. Secret clearance and CAC eligibility required.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex maintenance on P-8 aircraft airframes, powerplants, and subsystems.
• Follow NAMP, technical data, and contract directives for maintenance actions.
• Ensure safety and quality through tool control and FOD prevention.
• Document actions in logs and maintenance tracking systems.
• Support MEC/ECOD inputs and modifications work orders.
• Lead Level I/II mechanics and conduct peer inspections.
