Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies seeks an experienced electrical design engineer to create and modify electrical installation solutions for aircraft interiors, including wire routing, harnesses, and equipment installs, ensuring Fit, Form and Function per FAA and customer criteria.

You will develop BOMs and installation drawings, work with DERs and cross-functional teams, and help guide budget and schedules. Strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/Inventor) and 3D drafting are essential.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience.
Aviation background and aircraft interior experience preferred.
US Person qualification for ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

Create electrical installation designs for aircraft interiors using CAD tools.
Develop wiring harnesses and equipment installation drawings and BOMs.
Ensure designs meet FAA requirements and customer criteria.
Collaborate with DERs, UMs and other regulatory bodies as needed.
Provide design guidance and liaison support to cross-functional teams.
