Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Washington state seeks an Electrical Design Engineer to develop interior aircraft wiring, harnesses, and equipment installations using CAD tools. You will ensure fit, form and function while meeting FAA requirements and project schedules.

You will collaborate with Mechanical, Certification, and Manufacturing teams to review BOMs, select materials, and adhere to budgets. A B.S. in Aerospace or Electrical and 5+ years of experience are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical; 5+ years of relevant experience; aviation/interior experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical installation designs for aircraft interiors, including wiring harnesses and equipment.
• Prepare drawing lists for project-level STC.
• Select materials based on electrical requirements and specs; evaluate trade-offs.
• Ensure designs meet customer criteria, quality, and FAA requirements.
• Understand Bills of Materials and fabrication specifications.
• Adhere to budgets and project schedules.
• Provide design guidance to engineering teams and liaison support to resolve issues.
