Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies, located in Washington, seeks a seasoned Electrical Design Engineer for aircraft interiors. You will design electrical installations, wire routing, and equipment placements while ensuring FAA compliance, quality standards, and budget adherence.

Candidate should have strong CAD skills (AutoCAD/Inventor), 8+ years in aerospace interiors, and experience with DERs and regulatory bodies. Travel and collaboration across Mechanical, Stress, and Certification teams are expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in aerospace or electrical engineering or related field.
• 8+ years of relevant experience preferred in aviation/interiors.
• Strong CAD skills with 3D design/drafting focus.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical installation design solutions for aircraft interiors, including wire routing, harnesses and equipment installations.
• Prepare drawings and BOMs for project-level STC.
• Ensure designs meet FAA requirements and customer criteria.
• Lead liaison with DERs, UMs and other regulatory bodies as needed.
• Interface with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing, Certification).
• Adhere to budgets and project schedules.
