Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies seeks an experienced electrical design engineer to develop installation designs for aircraft interiors and ensure compliance with FAA standards. You will produce detailed drawings, wire routing, harness layouts, and equipment installations using AutoCAD or Inventor, supporting the project from concept through STC documentation.

Applicants should have a Bachelor’s in Aerospace or Electrical and at least 8 years of relevant experience in aviation interiors, with strong 3D

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Aerospace or Electrical; 8+ years of relevant experience; aviation background and aircraft interior experience preferred.
• Ability to check electrical engineering drawings for Fit, Form and Function.
• Strong CAD/ drafting skills using AutoCAD and/or Inventor; 3D design/drafting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical installation design solutions for aircraft interiors using CAD tools.
• Prepare a drawing list for wire/electrical installations for project level STC.
• Ensure designs meet customer criteria, quality standards, and FAA requirements.
• Lead installation planning for aircraft-wide equipment locations and materials.
