Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Denton, TX is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to create and modify electrical solutions for aircraft interiors, including wire routing, harnesses, and equipment installations using CAD tools. You will ensure designs meet customer criteria, quality standards, FAA requirements, budget and schedules, and you will work with DERs, UMs and cross-functional teams.

Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical and 8+ years of relevant experience are required;

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical; 8+ years experience in aircraft interiors.
• Strong CAD skills using AutoCAD and/or Inventor.
• Experience with wiring diagrams, harness assemblies and installation drawings.
• Knowledge of FAA regulations related to electrical installation.
• Ability to travel and work cross-functionally.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical installation designs for aircraft interiors using CAD tools.
• Develop wiring routes, harnesses, and equipment installation plans.
• Prepare BOMs, material evaluations and supplier coordination.
• Coordinate with DERs, UMs and FAA for certification.
• Ensure schedules and budgets are adhered to.
• Collaborate with Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing, and Certification teams.
