Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies, Inc. seeks an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop interior electrical installations, including wire routing, harnesses, and equipment installations, ensuring Fit, Form and Function in line with customer criteria, FAA requirements, and project budgets.

The role requires CAD proficiency (AutoCAD, Inventor) and collaboration with Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing, and Certification teams to support build and integration efforts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical Engineering or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in electrical design for aircraft interiors.
• Experience adhering to FAA requirements and industry standards.

Responsibilities

• Develop electrical installation design solutions for aircraft interiors, including wire routing, harnesses, and equipment installations using CAD tools.
• Create drawing lists for wire and electrical installations for project STCs.
• Select materials for electrical installations and evaluate trade-offs considering performance, cost, and manufacturability.
• Ensure designs meet customer criteria, quality standards, FAA requirements, and budgets.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing, Certification) to resolve issues and support builds.
