Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Washington state is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to create and modify electrical design solutions for aircraft interiors, including wire routing, harnesses and equipment installations, ensuring Fit, Form and Function to meet FAA requirements.

The role requires coordination with DERs, UMs and other FAA bodies, strong CAD skills (AutoCAD, Inventor), and the ability to manage budgets and schedules while delivering compliant, high-quality installations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical with 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Aviation/aircraft interior background preferred.
• Strong CAD skills using AutoCAD and Inventor; 3D drafting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Creates electrical installation designs for aircraft interiors with wire routing and equipment installations.
• Produces a drawing list of assigned wire/electrical installations for project STC.
• Ensures designs meet customer criteria, quality standards and FAA requirements.
• Writes EWIS, Wire Compliance, Cooling Analysis documentation.
• Collaborates with DERs, UMs and FAA bodies.
