Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to create interior electrical installations, wire routing, and equipment installations using CAD tools.

You will generate project-level drawings, select materials, and ensure compliance with aviation standards and FAA requirements. Responsibilities include collaborating with Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing, and Certification teams, maintaining schedules and budgets, and providing guidance to engineering staff.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical; minimum of 5 years relevant experience.
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience preferred.
• Ability to travel as required and willingness to work off hours if needed.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical installation design solutions for aircraft interior using CAD tools, ensuring Fit, Form and Function.
• Create a drawing list of assigned wire and electrical equipment installations for project level STC.
• Select materials for electrical installations; evaluate trade-offs; coordinate with suppliers and testers.
• Ensure electrical designs meet customer criteria, quality standards and FAA requirements.
• Understand BOMs, assembly concepts and fabrication specifications.
• Adhere to budget and project schedules.
• Provide design guidance and feedback to other engineering personnel.
• Provide liaison engineering support to resolve build and installation issues.
• Interface with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing, and Certification.
• Maintain regular attendance and punctuality; work full shifts.
• Other duties as assigned.
