Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies in Denton, Texas is seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to develop electrical installation designs for aircraft interiors, including wiring routes and equipment installations, using CAD tools. You will prepare project-level documentation and ensure compliance with FAA standards and client requirements.

You will collaborate with Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing and Certification teams, select appropriate materials, and help meet budget and schedule

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical with 5+ years of relevant experience.
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience preferred.
• Ability to travel as required.
• US Person status required for ITAR compliance.

Responsibilities

• Create electrical installation design solutions for aircraft interiors using CAD tools.
• Prepare a drawing list of assigned wire and electrical equipment installations for project STC.
• Select materials based on electrical requirements and specifications; evaluate trade-offs.
• Ensure electrical designs meet customer criteria, quality standards and FAA requirements.
• Provide liaison engineering support to resolve build and installation issues.
• Interface with cross-functional teams including Mechanical, Stress, Manufacturing and Certification.
