Job summary

Airbus Commercial Aircraft in Wichita, Kansas, seeks a Senior Structure Fatigue & Damage Tolerance Analysis Engineer to support in-service fleet repairs and airworthiness justifications. You will perform advanced F&DT analyses on metallic parts, collaborating with Design and Static Stress teams to provide robust repair solutions.

The role requires a BS in Engineering and at least 9 years of experience in airframe analysis, with proficiency in MS Office and a working knowledge of Python being a

Qualifications

• BS in Engineering (Aero, Civil, Mechanical or related).
• Minimum 9 years total analysis experience in airframe design/repair.
• Experience with metallic and/or composite airframe repairs.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and basic coding in Python is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Create high-quality integrated and certified engineering repair solutions for airlines within time scales.
• Autonomously perform complex F&DT analyses to ensure structural integrity requirements are met.
• Prepare structural justification documentation and certification for in-service fleet support.
• Mentor less experienced F&DT engineers and coordinate with Design and Static Stress teams.
• Ensure repairs return aircraft to airworthy condition and respond to complex repair queries clearly.
