Job summary

Greenpoint Technologies, Inc. is seeking an experienced electrical design engineer to create, modify, and review complex aircraft interior electrical systems.

You will ensure on-time, on-budget delivery for Commercial, VIP, and Special Mission projects and mentor junior engineers. The role requires a Bachelor's in Aerospace or Electrical engineering with 8+ years of experience and familiarity with FAA design requirements.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Aerospace or Electrical engineering and 8+ years of relevant experience.
• Aviation background and aircraft interior experience strongly preferred.
• Experience with FAA design requirements and certification processes.

Responsibilities

• Create master drawing lists of electrical system drawings for project STC.
• Define electrical architecture meeting client and regulatory requirements.
• Design wire diagrams and kits using drafting tools.
• Review drawing packages and approve for release.
• Assist in verification and test procedures per FAA requirements.
• Interface with clients, FAA designees, and vendors.
• Participate in bid estimation and project scheduling.
• Mentor engineers and coordinate with cross-functional teams.
