Job summary

Cirrus is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to contribute to building aircraft with hands-on work on parts, rivets, fixtures, and wiring. The role emphasizes learning multiple disciplines while maintaining quality and safety in a dynamic production environment.

The position requires experience with hand tools, reading drawings, and the ability to troubleshoot and document procedures.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 5-7 years related experience preferred.
• Experience in medium/low volume manufacturing or aircraft/maintenance is valuable.
• Familiarity with basic tools and selecting proper tool.

Responsibilities

• Assemble parts using hand tools and pneumatic fixtures.
• Install components for fit, clearance, and performance per design.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system issues and develop solutions.
• Inspect, build, and install aircraft components.
• Read and follow engineering drawings and specifications.
• Document defects on non-conforming parts.
