The role emphasizes flexibility, learning new skills, and teamwork in a fast-paced environment. Responsibilities include installing components, troubleshooting, on-the-job training, inspecting parts, and documenting defects.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Minimum five years related experience, education and/or training.
• Experience in medium/low volume manufacturing or aircraft maintenance is relevant.
• Good judgment in tool selection and basic tool knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Install components for fit, clearance, alignment and performance per design.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system issues and develop solutions.
• Conduct on-the-job training with Technicians.
• Inspect, build and install aircraft components.
• Understand engineering drawings and specifications.
• Document defects on non-conforming articles or parts.
• Set up fixturing for bonding, drilling and assembly.
• Install rivets, screws and bolts with proper tools.
• Route wires, cables and tubing and torque hardware.
