Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft in Duluth, MN is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to contribute to building airplanes. You will learn to use hand tools and pneumatic fixtures to assemble parts, follow build instructions, and document issues.

This role requires flexibility, willingness to learn, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Prior experience in related manufacturing helps, and there is opportunity for growth and benefits provided by Cirrus.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• 5-7 years related experience in manufacturing or aircraft environments preferred.
• Ability to read basic diagrams, follow instructions, and select proper tools.

Responsibilities

• Diverse knowledge in assembly responsibilities and learning multiple disciplines within 6 months.
• Install components for fit, alignment, and performance per design requirements.
• Troubleshoot aircraft system issues and document defects on non-conforming parts.
• Use fixtures to bond, drill, and assemble; install rivets, screws, and bolts.
• Work with engineering drawings, inspect components, and follow build instructions.
