Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to support aircraft construction. You will learn to read drawings, select proper tools, and perform basic assembly tasks while gaining familiarity with rivets, fasteners, and fixtures.

The role emphasizes safety, meticulous documentation, and adherence to Cirrus processes, with on‑the‑job training and opportunities to grow across manufacturing disciplines.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED is required.
• Knowledge of basic tools with good judgment to select proper tool.
• Preferred: at least one year of relevant experience or training in listed skills.

Responsibilities

• Learn Cirrus processes and assembly.
• Develop early skills to inspect, build and install aircraft components.
• Start reading engineering drawings and specs.
• Understand parts fit, clearance, alignment and performance.
• Follow and document aircraft build instructions.
• Wear PPE as required, possibly respirator use.
• Learn bonding, drilling, and holding fixtures.
• Learn to install rivets, screws and bolts with appropriate tools.
