Job summary

Cirrus is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to support aircraft building. You will learn to use hand tools and pneumatic fixtures, with emphasis on flexible, learn-on-the-job skill development.

The role requires the ability to read blueprints, work with various fasteners, and maintain a clean, compliant workstation while following build instructions and PPE protocols.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• 1–3 years related experience in manufacturing or aircraft sectors.
• Basic tools knowledge; good judgment selecting the right tool.

Responsibilities

• Learn one discipline/skill set within assembly within 3 months.
• Develop skills in reading and understanding engineering drawings and specifications.
• Understand parts, fit, clearance, alignment, and performance per design.
• Set up and use bonding, drilling, holding fixtures.
• Install rivets, screws and bolts.
• Route wires, cables and tubing.
• Torque hardware and fittings.
• Follow and document aircraft build instructions.
• Wears PPE including respirator.
• Learn to mix and apply adhesives, resins, and sealants.
• Maintain organized workstation.
