Job summary

Cirrus Aircraft Ltd. is seeking a Production Technician in Composites or Assembly to contribute to building aircraft. You will learn to use hand tools and pneumatic fixtures, adapt to different tasks, and develop skills across assembly areas.

From reading engineering drawings to installing fasteners and routing wiring, you will work under guidance, maintain a clean workstation, and grow with Cirrus through a range of benefits and a supportive manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• 1-3 years related experience in manufacturing or similar settings.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand specifications.
• Basic tool knowledge and good judgment for selecting the right tool.

Responsibilities

• Learn one assembly discipline within 3 months.
• Read engineering drawings and ensure parts fit and alignment per design.
• Understand parts fit, clearance, alignment, and performance per design requirements.
• Set up and use bonding, drilling, and holding fixtures; keep workstation organized.
• Install rivets, screws, and bolts with appropriate tools; route wires and tubing.
• Torque fasteners using various tools; document build instructions.
• Follow build instructions and wear required PPE.
• Learn to mix and apply adhesives, resins, and sealants per instructions.
• Maintain a clear workstation to departmental standards.
