Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced Air Quality Project Manager to join our Environmental Team. This role focuses on leading air quality permitting, modeling, and regulatory assessments for industrial and energy clients nationwide.

You will mentor staff, manage client relationships, and drive business development across multiple projects. Based in any US office (Columbus preferred), you will coordinate with national leadership and regulators, ensuring high-quality deliverables and compliance with

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Meteorology, Atmospheric Science, Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field.
• 10+ years of experience in air quality permitting, dispersion modeling, regulatory compliance, and environmental consulting.
• Strong project leadership, budgeting, scheduling, and client relationship management.
• Experience with PSD, NSR, Title V permitting and regulatory evaluations.
• Advanced experience using AERMOD and CALPUFF.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex air quality permitting, compliance, and modeling projects for industrial and energy clients nationwide.
• Manage project scope, budget, schedule, resources, QA, and risk.
• Serve as senior reviewer for air quality analyses and permit applications.
• Provide guidance on NSR, PSD, Title V and state programs.
• Act as primary client relationship manager for key accounts and lead business development.
• Mentor junior engineers, scientists, and project managers.
