Job summary

WSP USA is seeking an experienced Air Quality Project Manager to join our Environmental Team in Columbus, OH (preferred) with flexibility for U.S.-wide opportunities. You will lead air quality permitting, compliance, and modeling projects for industrial and infrastructure clients and serve as a senior technical reviewer.

Qualifications

• Must have strong air quality permitting and modeling knowledge.
• Experience managing complex projects with budgets and timelines.
• Proven ability to manage client relationships and growth initiatives.
• Advanced knowledge of regulatory programs and emissions inventories.

Responsibilities

• Lead complex air quality permitting, compliance, and modeling projects for industrial and energy clients nationwide.
• Manage project scope, budgeting, forecasting, scheduling, resources, QA, and risk.
• Serve as senior reviewer for air quality analyses, inventories, and permit applications.
• Provide guidance on NSR, PSD, Title V, and state programs and emerging regs.
• Act as primary client relationship manager for key accounts and long-term partnerships.
• Lead business development, client engagements, proposals, and strategic pursuits.
• Collaborate with national and regional teams to support growth and market expansion.
• Mentor and develop junior engineers, scientists, and project managers.
• Coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated environmental solutions.
• Represent WSP before regulatory agencies and professional associations.
