Job summary

Loxo is seeking an Air Logistics Senior Manager to lead a high-volume express operation at JFK Airport. This hands-on role oversees aircraft ramp, warehouse, sortation, and outbound movement, with 80% floor-based leadership and 20% strategic reporting and coaching.

Ideal candidates bring 8–10 years of leadership in warehousing or logistics, plus experience managing large teams and delivering KPIs. Evening/overnight shifts and a senior leadership footprint are expected.

Qualifications

• Progressive leadership experience within warehousing or logistics.
• Manager-of-managers experience with salaried supervisors or managers.
• Experience leading large, 100+ employee operations.
• Strong ownership of KPIs, safety, and productivity targets.
• Excellent communication and executive presence with customers and senior leaders.

Responsibilities

• Own the safe, efficient, and timely performance of an assigned shift across aircraft ramp, warehouse, sortation, and outbound transportation activities.
• Lead through supervisors and managers while remaining highly visible and engaged with frontline operations.
• Maintain efficient cross-dock flow and ensure fast movement of packages through inbound, sortation, and outbound processes.
• Respond to delays, staffing challenges, equipment issues, and other real-time disruptions.
• Hold leaders accountable for safety, security, quality, productivity, attendance, and customer service.
• Develop supervisors and managers while strengthening leadership capability and engagement.
• Support recruiting, interviewing, hiring, and performance management decisions.
• Monitor KPIs including throughput, scan performance, turnaround times, and SLA results.
• Prepare operational reports for senior leadership; complete incident and post-incident procedures.
• Maintain aviation, airport, safety, and security compliance; represent the operation in customer discussions.
