Job summary

Cloudera is seeking a Senior Solutions Engineer in a customer-facing role to drive technical sales of enterprise data, AI platforms, and ML workflows. You will own the technical sales process, design solutions, and present a compelling AI roadmap to customers.

You will collaborate with Account Managers, engage in evangelism, and translate complex AI concepts into business value, across domestic and international accounts. Remote-friendly with travel.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in a customer-facing role, preferably pre-sales in data/AI platforms.
• Ability to translate complex data and AI concepts into business value, via presentations/demos.
• Experience with enterprise software, big data platforms, or advanced analytics.

Responsibilities

• Own the technical sales process from initial meetings to post-sales activities.
• Support customer technical needs, identifying use cases around Generative AI and MLOps.
• Design customer solutions using reference architectures (RAG, end-to-end ML pipelines).
• Demonstrate Cloudera products and AI capabilities to drive customer engagement and decisions.
• Collaborate with Account Managers to articulate business/technical value.
• Present product roadmaps and AI-driven vision to customers.
• Interface with Product Management and Engineering to represent customer needs.
• Participate in external evangelism (conferences, meetups, webinars).
• Achieve team targets and contribute to knowledge sharing across the community.
